The chimera is probably one of the stranger creatures in the world. It is rumored to be an experiment performed by ancient wizards. Chimera are extremely fast predators. Many people have tried to capture chimera to train them as steeds, but this is very risky. Most chimera are untrainable. They are not intelligent creatures. They also have a tendency to break into violent fits even among their own species.
Chimera live in small family units. They live on mountaintops and cliff sides. The have nests and hatch their young from eggs.
The chimera attacks with it's claws, beak and tail. The chimera also breathes fire. Treat the chimera's breath as a 40 point fireball.
